The idea behind TFM was initiated back in 2014, when Matt Burton, CEO of Helping Men Heal (HMH), conducted a market and metrics survey around male trauma. The study was conducted to understand how HMH can help care providers address male trauma and loss. Each participant confirmed the need of education around male specific trauma and mental health, and they also pointed out how existing providers fail to provide contents that are male specific. TFM is an attempt to meet that need; dynamic, knowledgeable and approachable presenters providing compelling, interactive, practical, and applicable content that is relevant and accurate.
TFM creates value by facilitating interactions between interdependent groups of professionals, speakers and industry experts. TFM leverages the interdependencies between these groups and facilitates the process by sharing knowledge, and fulfilling US continuing education requirements.
